Seastream43 mkII. Is the diesel pickup for the heating shorter than the one for the engine?

Hello, most of the heater supply pipes do not go to the bottom of the tank and are shorter than the one supplying the engine; if the tank is half full, the heater supply pipe may be located above the diesel. This assembly is on my Seastredam 43 mkI. Have a good day
